Let your students feel the magic of the performing arts – in school!
After seeing the long-lasting benefits for school-aged children participating in the performing arts, some Brisbane-based schools approached us to set-up a theatre program to be rolled out across primary and secondary schools.
Our school program has become one of our most popular programs and like all Screech Arts offerings, these classes are fully accessible and suitable to students of all abilities.
Our team of facilitators and volunteers have designed a program tailored to the specific and unique needs of school-aged students whether they are looking to hone their performance and presentation skills, or strengthen their verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Screech Arts workshops are perfect for students to build important skills they need for life after school.
Screech Arts students develop and grow a range of skills, such as:
- Creative communication
- Verbal and non-verbal skills
- Improvisation techniques
- Character development
- Acting and storytelling
- Social and interpersonal skills
Read about more Screech benefits, and hear what parents, students and facilitators have to say about the programs.
Programs and structure
Workshops during school hours at your school or in the community
We can come to your school or meet your students at another location to deliver tailored Screech Arts programs either in two half hour workshops or a full hour workshop. It’s whatever works best for you and your teachers.
Workshops after school
We can work with your already established after school program and run Screech Arts workshops, or alternatively, we can organise workshops that operate after school hours.
